VBAC
We love it when parents are looking for a different birthing experience than what they have encountered before. We recommend anyone who is interested in having a VBAC (Vaginal Birth After a Cesarean) researches to ensure that a VBAC (and more specifically, HBAC- Homebirth After a Cesarean) is right for them. We will discuss complete information about the risks and benefits of both vaginal birth and of an elective repeat cesarean. We recognize that sometimes, not always, trauma is involved from previous birth experiences and discussing these feelings and experiences is an important part of our prenatal care, and an important part of healing in general.
